There are three classes, with an average class size of 25. We are fortunate enough to have at least one school-funded Teaching Assistant per class which enables us to achieve a pupil-to-staff ratio of 10-1.
Some Lessons are timetabled for the whole class, foe example: PE, Swimming, Games, etc. while for others a more flexible approach is adopted Classes may be organised into groups to allow each child to progress and develop at his or her own pace. Therefore, within any class there may be a variety of activities taking place at any one time.
Homework is set for all classes at an appropriate level. Generally on a weekly basis for Classes 2 and 3 and fortnightly for Class1.Further details about homework are contained in the Home/School Agreement. | ||
